A Guide on how to find a place to rent

by stella on April 11, 2014

What type of property should I look for?

It is all about finding a property you’d like to rent and which best suits your lifestyle. Think about how long you will stay there. Will you go back home to your parents/relationship often? Will you be at your flat for long periods of time? Think about  security. I would not recommend  a ground floor flat either in Halls or House or Apartment. Think about car and parking space. Think about furniture. Do you want furnished or unfurnished accommodation or would something that’s just part-furnished be okay? Often it doesn’t make much difference toέλληνας_φοιτητής the rent. But by all means look after the furniture – because you may lose some or all of your deposit to pay for damage. Think about the facilities a property provides e.g. washing and drying machine, shower, garden. Think also about proximity to bus/underground stops. If you can think of anything do comment below. Thanks!

Where should I look?

It can be difficult to find good property to rent in Cyprus, Greece, UK or wherever else you are moving to. Sifting through adverts in newspapers is hard work and the time from print to publication often means that by the time you see the ad, the property has long since been rented to someone else. Studentiko offers a great way to find lots of property that are available for rent right now. What s more, you can find a roommate too. We give access to a large number of potential rooms, flats, halls, houses. More importantly, you know instantly what is available and what is not. Just email the person who posted an ad and you will know in a matter of minutes. MovingBoxes
